e-Learning/ICT Activities and difficulties with Mobility

Remember, disability is a highly individualised experience. People with the same disability may have very different capabilities and/or needs, so it is always best to discuss any adaptations to practice, the environment or equipment directly with the disabled person themselves rather than making assumptions about what adjustments may be suitable.

Provided that the class is held in an accessible location, mobility difficulties should have no impact on a person’s ability to engage with e-Learning/ICT Activities. The only other consideration is the height of the workbenches – these should be sufficiently high to allow a wheelchair user to get their knees under the table.
